Thus, political scientist Alexander Kazakov drew attention to the fact that almost 500 thousand citizens of the Russian Federation now live in the republics, and this is “almost an entire single-mandate constituency.” The expert believes that they could vote online, by mail or at polling stations organized by turnout. At the same time, he added that now to vote online on the government services portal, you need to enter data on registration in Russia, but residents of the LDPR do not have it.

At the same time, the Central Election Commission recently clarified that Russian citizens from the LDPR have only one legal way to vote in the Duma elections - on Russian territory.

“The way out in this situation is to force, compel, stump the Central Election Commission or those on whom it depends, so that a separate button appears on the government services portal, with the help of which residents of the people’s republics can vote without registration,” says the political scientist

“I believe that it is necessary to open sites on the territory of the LDPR without permission and spit on international law just as our geopolitical opponents spit on it,” says Kazakov.

Political scientist Sergei Mikheev also supported him.

“These international standards must be sent to a known address when they are unprofitable for us,” Mikheev said.

In turn, the leader of the “For Truth” movement, writer Zakhar Prilepin, told the publication that he was close to the idea of opening polling stations in the LDPR demonstratively.

“We must show the world, Europe and Ukraine that we observe democratic principles in the most persistent way, including on the territory of the LDPR,” Prilepin emphasized.
