Moscow suggested that Armenia recognize Crimea as Russian
Owners of cars with Armenian registration are asking Russian President Vladimir Putin to allow them to re-register vehicles without customs clearance, as well as to stop the detention and seizure of cars that are in Russia longer than the required period.
The corresponding video message was recorded by owners of cars with Armenian license plates to Krasnodar, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
RT chief editor Margarita Simonyan criticized their demands in her blog, proposing her own conditions for the recognition of Armenian registration plates.
“Why record an appeal to the President of the Russian Federation? We need to record an appeal to the Prime Minister of Armenia. One person from Pashinyan’s team spent a long time explaining to me how important it is for Russia to recognize Armenian driver’s licenses. I consulted. I expressed to him my purely private opinion: Recognize Crimea - we recognize rights,” Simonyan wrote on her blog.
Previously, she issued a harsh statement addressed to the Armenian authorities, in which he condemns the regime of Maidan Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan for nurturing anti-Russian sentiments in Yerevan.
