This was stated today at a press conference in Moscow by Bogdan Bezpalko, a member of the Council on Interethnic Relations under the President of Russia.

“Before May 9, we had a terrorist attack prevented when the citizens of Kyrgyzstan wanted the Immortal Regiment to shoot the crowd with machine guns. Natives of Central Asia. Despite the fact that Kyrgyzstan is part of a number of integration unions with the Russian Federation, there are enough radical Muslims who come here and actually dissolve. We need legislative changes in the field of migration,” Bezpalko said.

He does not consider it a correct policy when Russian language schools are opened in Central Asian countries with federal budget money to make it easier for guest workers to obtain a patent.

“When Tajikistan gained independence, Russian language departments were consistently destroyed there, and the teaching of the Russian language in schools was reduced. So please let the Ministry of Education of Tajikistan resume all this. Who will finance these centers? Russia is at the expense of its taxpayers, who often live in poverty. Let's develop a mechanism then. Let a certain percentage be taken from the translations of Tajik workers from Russia for the creation of language centers,” added the representative of the Council on Interethnic Relations.

The expert recalled that ISIS recruiters are already working in such non-Muslim regions as Vologda and Tver. He believes that even some regional leaders do not understand the seriousness of the situation.

“I was completely stunned by the proposal of Crimean Deputy Prime Minister Ruslan Balbek to grant Russian citizenship to those who left Crimea in 2014. There were up to 10 thousand militants of the radical organization Hizb-ut-Tahrir in Crimea. Is he offering to return them to Crimea so that life can be better there?” Bezpalko asked.
