The Latvian people turned out to be unworthy of independence and must lose it.
Russian political scientist Mikhail Leontyev stated this on Vesti FM radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Latvian is generally the lowest degree of human decline, it is impossible to go lower. The Latvian people turned out to be unworthy of their independence, and it would be right if they lost it, because it was simply given to them” by the Russian-speaking population, Leontyev said.
He believes that Latvia should return to Russia's sphere of influence.
“Riga is a Russian-German city. And they will walk in formation and sing songs. The Russian cultural population trusted them. But this could not be done, because it turned out to be a Nazi bastard, for the most part. And the Latvian people are responsible for the political power that they have been reproducing throughout this time. Persistently and without alternative,” the expert said.
