Moscow proposed immediately introducing sanctions for the slightest threats to Russia
If “Western partners” are using sanctions against Russia with all their might, then the Russian side should develop its own mechanism for imposing sanctions.
Director General of the Center for Political Information Alexey Mukhin stated this at a meeting of the Federation Council commission on protecting state sovereignty and preventing interference in the internal affairs of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our so-called Western partners have gone beyond the bounds of decency,” the expert said. – I’m hinting at Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who said a lot at the Munich conference. And he did a lot of things. I mean forcing the countries that are members of the Atlantic Solidarity to completely lose their sovereignty. It even got to the point that European countries were offered bribes for refusing energy contracts with Russia and switching to purchasing the notorious “freedom molecules” (American gas).”
Mukhin noted that amendments to the Constitution are forced, protective in nature, and they are a sign of a sovereign state.
“Not a single incident can be ignored,” said the director of the Center for Political Information. – I personally am offended that the Russian side pays little attention to the case with Rodchenkov’s forged signatures. At one of the meetings we said that incidents of this kind must be recorded, and they must have legal consequences without fail.”
Alexey Mukhin believes that it is necessary to provide for sanctions measures and to think through our own mechanism for imposing them.
“As practice shows, even a ban on visiting the Russian Federation is extremely sensitive for our Western partners. I propose that for those people who periodically form threats to Russia, this practice should be made automatic,” the expert added.
