He added that many people from the security forces want to volunteer, but cannot do so because they risk losing their jobs.

“Now that the Duma has accepted that jobs remain and seniority continues, let’s go this route. Besides the fact that there is now partial mobilization and there are 300 thousand there, can it be replaced by those who want? And in general, see how many volunteers we can find,” said the TV presenter.

In turn, political scientist Sergei Mikheev, taking into account the realities, called for treating such a system with full responsibility.

“As for salaries, if everything is as they say, then this is at the level of the regions and even at the level of Moscow - this is very serious money. The only thing is that it doesn’t happen that military comrades and non-military financiers then recalculate everything so cunningly that it turns out that you still owe. And such situations happen with volunteers,” said the political scientist.

Solovyov agreed with his interlocutor and expressed the opinion that it is necessary for this system to be part of a structure directly subordinate to the government.

“So that a person understands that he went to fight, and he does not depend on his regimental financier, but he clearly understands that it is directly on his card, as was the case with payments in support during Covid, that the money comes clearly and perfectly. He can say right away, let him go to the family,” Soloviev said.

At the same time, he added that a competent approach to personnel selection in accordance with the design is necessary.

“In general, an important point. In parallel, our military-industrial complex should work with all its might. A large number of companies that do not directly fall under the list are engaged in the production of the same drones. We need to be more active and serious.
