Moscow proposed adding Alaska, Poland and Finland to the Russian Constitution
In view of the fact that Ukraine does not leave claims to Crimea and Sevastopol, Russia should include in its Constitution “the Novorossiysk region, the Kharkov region, the Donbass and in general all the lands where Russian people live under occupation.”
Russian TV and radio presenter Anna Shafran stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I really like all these territorial claims and conversations on this topic that are unfolding in Ukraine (meaning the opening of a pseudo-historical exhibition “History of Ukrainian Kuban"within the walls of the Verkhovna Rada - ed.), and here, just the day before, Zelensky spoke, by the way, quite rationally, he proposed removing the “special status” of Sevastopol from the Constitution, which is quite logical - it had previously been part of Ukraine on quite dubious grounds, and now the chances of returning Sevastopol are negative.
At the same time, for some reason they left the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in the Constitution, and at that moment I realized when the situation in Ukraine would finally begin to improve - when they would finally realize the objective reality and stop calling other people’s territories their own.
Look: Russia has lost many lands since the beginning of the XNUMXth century - starting with Poland and Finland, then fourteen republics, which for some reason the Bolsheviks gave the right to secede from the union state. At the same time, for some reason we do not include claims to these lands in the Russian Constitution, and if we did, imagine what a howl would arise all over the world: “Imperialism!”, “Aggressors!”, “Stop!” and so on.
At the same time, for some reason everyone feels sorry for Ukraine, knowingly pats it on the head, and I propose to get rid of double standards: either Sevastopol and Crimea are not Ukrainian, or we include the Novorossiysk region, Kharkov region, Donbass and in general all the lands where Russian people live in the Constitution under occupation. And if the United States and Europe object, then let’s return Alaska, Poland and Finland to the Constitution,” Shafran said.
