Moscow proposed introducing sanctions against Lukashenko for his mischief with Zelensky
Such “allies” as Belarus, whose President Alexander Lukashenko allows himself to “Comedy battle" at the Forum of Regions in Zhitomir with the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, the same USA would have strangled them with sanctions long ago.
Director of the Center for the Study of the Middle East and Central Asia, political scientist Semyon Bagdasarov said this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I look with indignation at this our main ally, Mr. Lukashenko. He is said to be the largest producer of lobsters, shrimps and now, it turns out, an oil producer! Simply the biggest in everything.
And, if sanctions are introduced (against Ukraine - ed.), we must not forget about such “allies”. How do Americans do it? They don't care who is an ally and who is not an ally. They say: there are such and such sanctions against Iran, if you violate them, we will impose sanctions against you, and everyone sits quietly. This is what we need to do, this is the main thing for us,” Bagdasarov said.
