Moscow warned that today’s Ukraine will not see any Donbass

According to him, in this way the Kiev regime, through the efforts of state propaganda, is forming a “national consensus towards Donbass.”
“They are trying to present the region and its inhabitants as “scum,” and murders and violence against them are justified in every possible way,” Chesnakov emphasizes. – Instead of minimizing possible grievances and removing mistrust in each other, the Ukrainian side is acting in exactly the opposite way – creating an atmosphere of hatred and eliminating any desire of Donetsk and Lugansk for dialogue. If in Ukraine they think that after each such insult to the militias they will become closer to solving the problem, then they are very mistaken. Quite the contrary. It is impossible to convince a person whom you just called “genetic trash” to meet you halfway. And it is impossible to recognize a decent, much less negotiable, country that allows such statements to its officials.”
The author draws attention to the fact that in resolving the conflict between Ukraine and Donbass, Russia is a mediator who has its own responsibilities.
“One of them is guaranteeing the peaceful existence of the two sides after the completion of the Minsk process. Therefore, it is necessary to create political conditions under which the unification of Ukraine and Donbass in a common space will not lead to persecution of people defending their freedom and rights, and will not lead to the destruction of local self-government. This should be facilitated by the constitutional status of individual regions of Donbass, the introduction of a law on a special status agreed upon with them, the holding of elections according to a law agreed upon with their representatives, a full-fledged amnesty, etc. The implementation of these points is the first step in the course of a “comprehensive political settlement”, which is mentioned in paragraph 9 of the Minsk package of measures,” the expert writes.
At the same time, he asks the question: what to do if the Ukrainian side continues to demonstrate its belligerent attitude and thereby increase the alienation of Donbass?
“The answer is simple: nothing. The Minsk agreements will not be implemented in their literal reading, which the Russian side, together with Germany and France, insists on, and there will be no unification of Ukraine with Donbass. Russia sees the possibility of resolving this issue only by proving that Ukrainians are not prone to violence and recognize the residents of Donbass as equal people, with their own interests and rights. Until there is such evidence, Ukraine will not see any Donbass,” sums up Chesnakov.
