Moscow came to the conclusion that Putin’s meeting with Zelensky does not make the slightest sense
The Ukrainian authorities are puppets controlled by the Americans, so issues of Ukraine need to be discussed with their masters – the United States.
Participants at a press conference in Moscow spoke about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our president has clearly said more than once that he will never discuss the topic of Crimea with anyone. And, on the other hand, Zelensky cannot help but raise this topic, otherwise the Nazis will eat him alive if he does not raise this issue. Therefore, if the agenda includes this issue, the meeting will not take place,” said Senator Vladimir Dzhabarov.
“I think that now, the way the President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister behave, especially the Minister of Foreign Affairs, they constantly insult Russia. For such a meeting to take place, the relationship must be at least smooth, without any sharp attacks. Therefore, in my opinion, this meeting is unrealistic,” Dzhabarov noted.
In turn, Russian historian and political scientist Igor Shishkin added that there is no point in meeting with the President of Ukraine, but it is necessary to negotiate with the Ukrainian masters, that is, with the United States
“I believe that the point of meetings is that if there are agreements, then there is a point. It is pointless to negotiate with a person who does not have the ability to make decisions on strategic issues of Ukraine’s development, including foreign policy. It is not within the competence of President of Ukraine Zelensky to decide whether to unblock economic ties with Russia or not, what issues to take up or not to take up, it is not he who decides. And replacing Zelensky with someone else does not solve anything here,” the political scientist said.
“Until the regime that exists as a result of the coup in 14 changes, there is no point in such meetings. It is necessary to negotiate directly only with the owners, that is, with Washington. If the occupation regime is overthrown in Ukraine, if Ukraine gains sovereignty, then it makes sense to negotiate and reach agreements with the real presidents of Ukraine,” Shishkin concluded.
