Moscow called for preparations for the Crimean scenario for the South-East
Russia must be prepared for the fact that the current President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, will not voluntarily give up power and will stage a provocation on the eve of the second round of the presidential election.
Russian diplomat Nikolai Platoshkin stated this on the Red Line TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I hope that there will be no second round, Poroshenko will not give up the elections, he will resort to some kind of monstrous provocation either internally or externally. Outside, of course, not against Hungary, as you understand, but against us.
And then, I think, the events of the spring of 14 will repeat. We need to be prepared to protect the southeastern regions and accept them into the Russian Federation according to the Crimean scenario,” Platoshkin said.
