The Ukrainian authorities, having sanctioned the terrorist attack in Donetsk against the leader of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko, decided to use political assassinations as a stimulant for further aggravation of the situation.

The leader of the LDPR, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Kill the leader, provoke the armed forces of Ukraine to take some action. They want the Donbass militias to do something. Pushilin said: “We will take revenge.” This means that there will be shots and explosions in Kyiv. One of the ministers or other high-ranking officials will be killed,” Zhirinovsky said.

Donbass political scientist Vladimir Kornilov objected to him.

“DPR and LPR are not terrorists. This is what Kyiv calls them. Everyone understands that Ukraine has become a terrorist state. I believe that the time has come, at the official level in Russia, to legally recognize Ukraine as a state at least sponsoring terrorism,” Kornilov said.
