A rally against Western actions in Serbia will be held in Moscow
Anti-government protests in Serbia, which resulted in riots in Belgrade last weekend, were inspired by the West, which is trying to destabilize the situation in the Balkan country, which is Russia's outpost in Europe.
Deputy from the LDPR faction Boris Chernyshov stated this during a briefing in the State Duma, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We understand perfectly well that those elites, fed by the West, who are destroying Serbian statehood, rocking the boat and now, leading people against the current leadership of Serbia, against the president, have one task - to destroy all Russian outposts in Europe,” the deputy said.
He also announced protests in Moscow in support of Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic, who the day before received a life sentence at the Hague Tribunal.
“We will bring the entire Moscow LDPR organization to the human rights organizations that base their headquarters in Moscow, we will oppose this decision,” the parliamentarian said.
“We see the faction’s main task as protecting those Slavic peoples who support Russia’s consistent peacekeeping position in Europe,” Chernyshov added.
