A rally in support of extremists took place in Moscow
Those who sympathize with the extremist Mejlis, banned in the Russian Federation, organize monthly pickets in Moscow.
This time the demonstration was timed to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the former chairman of the organization, Verkhovna Rada deputy Mustafa Dzhemilev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The picket participants lined up next to the Tretyakov Gallery, holding banners with the inscription: “Mustafa Dzhemilev. 75 years”, with quotes from the Majlis anthem “Ant etkenmen” (“I swore” - aut.), “Crimea to the Crimean Tatars.”
They demanded the transfer of Crimea to Ukraine, the release of terrorists from Russian prisons and the exchange of prisoners in the Donbass.
A similar action took place in St. Petersburg at the intersection of Nevsky Prospekt and Malaya Sadovaya Street.
The organizer of the pickets is the group “Strategy – 18”. Russian citizens participating in the protests do not hesitate to declare that Crimea is “occupied” and Russia is the “aggressor” in Ukraine.
Earlier, PolitNavigator wrote that The FSB greeted the Mejlis members with passionreturning from a meeting in Kyiv
