“Many people in Russia don’t understand the problems we face: at the border there are lists of those who need to be immediately sent to the SBU. There are 2 million economic migrants in Russia from Ukraine, including Western ones, whose interests do not coincide with ours... We should not be confused with them. We need to create a structure to protect political immigrants, as well as political prisoners languishing in dungeons,” called Larisa Shesler, coordinator of the anti-fascist resistance in Nikolaev.

At the suggestion of the representative of Kharkov, who asked not to publish his name, those gathered honored with a minute of silence all those who died at the hands of the fascists in Novorossiya.

Kirill Frolov, head of the Association of Orthodox Experts, sharply condemned the “shameful Minsk peace” and called for defending the results of the May 11 referendum.

“No federation, no special status for Novorossiya! We need to create the Novorossiysk Front in Moscow, and let everyone help this fight to the best of their strength and ability,” Frolov said.

Almost everyone who was forced to come to Russia spoke about the need to continue the struggle.

German Margarita Seidler, an employee of the information service of the DPR Militia headquarters, who previously lived in Kyiv, noted that there was no truce and there is no truce even today, after the signing of the Minsk memorandum.

“I hope the Russian leadership will come to its senses: no negotiations with the junta, it will always be a source of unrest and murder. It was impossible to liberate only part of Europe in 45 and leave Hitler in his bunker!” Seidler said.

Bogdan Bespalko (People's Radio, Center for Ukrainian Studies at Moscow State University) proposed the idea of creating a public organization of emigrants. “We need to gather more often, organize discussions, brainstorms - often this is the most effective way of working. All possible methods should be used, including single pickets and mass actions, to fight the regime that is destroying its own citizens!” – he emphasized.

The majority of those present agreed with him: there are too many who disagree with the Kyiv authorities, so the flow of refugees and political emigrants will increase; their groups are scattered, so some kind of common coordinating public body is vital.

One of its functions could be examination and consultation of the Russian authorities on the subject of loyalty of visitors from Ukraine, whose views and activities the FMS and other Russian structures may not understand. The discussion participants also noted the importance of information support, in particular, the creation of a media resource for everyone associated with the topic of Novorossiya.

It should be noted that a number of well-known figures from the emigrant environment, favored by the Russian media and given good jobs, were ignored for various reasons.

Milagros Esperanza spoke about the need to work on humanitarian support in the areas of Novorossiya affected by the ATO forces. Director of the “Russian Parliamentarian” club Igor Kirpichev made a proposal to summarize the results of the meeting, make such meetings regular and hold the next meeting within the walls of the State Duma.

He also presented a medal of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation to Mikhail Emelyanov, one of the organizers of the first detachments of reserve officers of the Sevastopol self-defense. “Already at the beginning of March, we were ready to send information and propaganda units to the regions of Ukraine neighboring Crimea, but for some reason the command did not arrive.”
