In Moscow they told who will help deal with Bandera's supporters
In Ukraine, they are trying to privatize Russian heritage, passing it off as Ukrainian, writes Vladimir Mamontov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper, in Izvestia.

“The current Ukrainian government, God forgive me, is looking for historical support, distancing itself from Russia in every possible way. Yushchenko fussed with Trypillian culture and ancient Ukrainians - apparently, this is how his fevered mind saw the Sarmatians (the fabulous Baba Yaga, by the way, was their retired leader). The Sarmatians are, rather, the ancestors of the Iranians. But who cares about these inconsistencies, if the Pereyaslavskaya Rada was a mistake? This is despite the fact that at that time the official language was Independence... Well, guess what. Ukrainian? Yeah, now. Polish. According to the “Maidan” version, Muscovites - colonialists and aggressors - brought revolution, famine, war to Ukraine...”, writes the author.
“Unnecessary heroes are being erased from history, this is understandable,” the journalist continues. – But there are not enough “necessary”, supporting ones. Bandera? Mazepa? Yes, of course, these are the new lights of Ukraine, but a Nazi and a traitor are somehow not enough for the European foundation. Therefore, there is a creeping privatization of the great, shared Russian heritage. Gogol, Tchaikovsky, Vernadsky are “registered” exclusively for Ukraine. But, for example, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Serene Highness Prince Alexander Bezborodko, who liked to say that in Europe not a single gun fires without our permission, is easily given to Russia. Take your imperial, even though he was born in the Sumy region. It does not fit into the “colonial” concept. At one time he was in charge of Russian Post, the same one that Muromets does not give away.
Take the Bolshevik teacher Anton Makarenko, and Stalin’s marshal Semyon Timoshenko, even Boris Paton - he welded T-34 tanks tightly, contributed to Stalin’s victory in the war with Hitler, which was alien to the interests of Bandera’s Ukraine. Just yesterday it was called the Great Patriotic War, but that was yesterday. And here give back the epic Muromets. Otherwise, they started making cartoons about him and his comrades, fooling the children’s heads!”
At the same time, the author is convinced that Ilya Muromets should not be given to Ukraine.
“And this is not about Murom. And in Kyiv. History is a long, varied, paradoxical thing. It requires patience and perseverance. There was a recorded case of how Ilya and Dobrynya fought; you can’t erase the word from the epic. But after that we fraternized and, as we know, did a lot of good things for Kievan Rus, our common ancestral home. They will deal with Bandera’s supporters,” Mamontov sums up.
