According to him, in this way, the President of Ukraine wants to protect the central government from two threats.
“Poroshenko has two threats - the radicals and the Right Sector, who will demand the continuation of the war at any cost, and, on the other hand, Novorossiya, which will move forward and liberate at least Mariupol and the borders of the Lugansk and Donetsk regions. Therefore, he wants to place peacekeeping forces, which will consist of countries controlled by the European Union or America, between himself and the Right Sector on the one hand and Novorossiya on the other. Because both threats are more than real for him,” Akopov assures.
