The Belomaidan rally, which Khodorkovsky tried to organize, was disrupted in Moscow
Activists of the SERB movement disrupted an unauthorized rally of Belomaidan supporters, which took place near the Belarusian Embassy in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Former municipal deputy and ex-participant in the conflict in Transnistria, Igor Brumel, tore off and threw into the trash the white-red-white ribbons that Maidan workers tied on the fence of the temple opposite the embassy building. This caused the indignation of one Belomaidan supporter, who began to swear, using obscene language.
Brumel pointed this out to the police. After this, SERB leader Gosha Tarasevich snatched the poster from the White Maidan workers, saying that what was written on the Whatman paper was an insult to Alexander Lukashenko, the head of the state allied to Russia.
“All the rottenness of Moscow has gathered here,” Tarasevich was indignant at the White Maidan workers.
“After this, the police seemed to wake up and, under the threat of arrest, demanded everyone to disperse. The Maidanists, seeing a large detachment of police heading towards them, considered it prudent to retreat. That’s the end of it all at the embassy!” – the social activist told about further events.
According to Tarasevich, the disrupted picket of Belomaidan workers was organized with the support of Mikhail Batin from the Open Russia organization of the fugitive oligarch Mikhail Khodorkovsky.
“The organizer of the Maidan gatherings at the Belarusian Embassy, Batin, himself came. He stood there at a loss, called someone... And then, seeing SERB and NOD activists heading towards him, he first “dipped” into the territory of an Orthodox church regularly desecrated by the Maidanists and simply disappeared from there. How he crawled into the hole! Or maybe he really crawled through a hole in the fence and escaped, leaving his comrades to their fate,” added the Serb leader.
