Moscow regrets that Ukrainian tanks are fueled with Russian diesel fuel
In 2018, trade between Russia and Ukraine grew by more than a quarter, and most of the petroleum products consumed in Ukraine are Russian-made.
Russian political scientist and economist Mikhail Delyagin stated this during a press conference on the topic: “Ukrainian-Russian relations in 2018,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Foreign trade between Russia and Ukraine has grown by more than a quarter this year. It has been growing for several years, once again confirming that the Ukrainian economy and Ukraine as a society cannot exist outside the Russian market and outside many types of Russian raw materials,” the expert said.
“So, economically, there is a fusion of the common body that was cut in 2014. It goes slowly, crookedly, using methods that no one likes. For example, I don’t like it when the cars and tanks of punitive forces are fueled with our diesel fuel. The bulk of petroleum products that are now available in Ukraine are ours. But nevertheless, economic ties are growing,” Delyagin added.
