After the collapse of the USSR, the Americans left their presence in Germany, and therefore now allow themselves to be called victors in World War II.
The leader of the LDPR, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, stated this during the press approach of representatives of factions in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Of course, we are unpleasant that the Americans announced that they and the British won the Second World War. This means there was no need to leave Germany. Because they are standing in Germany, they are considered to be winners. And if we left, then we are not there today. Gorbachev and Yeltsin did not understand this; they studied history poorly,” said Zhirinovsky.
