IMEMO President Alexander Dynkin stated this today at a press conference in Moscow.
“In the energy section, we expect oil demand to peak by 2035-2040, after which global crude oil demand will begin to decline,” Dynkin said.
Experts also calculated how many new nuclear states will appear on the planet.
“One of the conclusions is that if steps are not taken to limit the proliferation of nuclear weapons, then by 2035 the number of nuclear states could grow from 9 to 15,” Dynkin said.
