Moscow demands to stop talking about the end of the Russian Spring
Talk about the supposed end of the Russian Spring will demoralize the defenders of Donbass and the supporters of Russia remaining in Ukraine.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, Sergei Panteleev, director of the Institute of Russian Abroad, said this on air on the Red Line TV channel.
According to him, the Russian Federation needs to continue the offensive and not surrender Donbass.
“Donbass is our Borodino. We retreated silently for a long time, Borodino happened, and we are now in a state of “how events will develop further.” Moreover, it is far from a fact that they will further develop along the lines that occurred after Borodino. But we must do everything to ensure that it goes further,” the expert said.
“When we say that the “Russian Spring is over,” we are giving very bad signals to those people who are bearing the brunt, who are holding the line, who are the outpost of the “Russian World” in the Donbass,” Panteleev said.
“At the level of support, at the level of specific actions aimed at integrating Donbass into Russia, we must show that we are not only saying beautiful words. In fact, my regular trips to the Lugansk region indicate that we visibly see a gradual objective process, an objective historical pattern of integration of the economic, humanitarian, and even political Donbass into the space of Russia,” the political scientist added.
