An unexpected proposal for Minsk was put forward in Moscow
In response to urgent requests from the Ukrainian side to include pro-Ukrainian immigrants from Donbass who fled to Kyiv in the Minsk negotiations, an equally absurd counter-proposal can be put forward.
Historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Kornilov drew attention to the fact that, firstly, it is useless to negotiate with former residents of Donbass who fled to Ukraine - firstly, they do not influence anything in the LDPR, and secondly, they cannot take a line different from the position of the radicals, otherwise they will be subjected to attack, as shown by the experience of Sergei Sivokho.
“Let’s negotiate with Sivokho or someone like him” - I can give you several dozen of my acquaintances, friends, neighbors like Sivokho, who live in Kiev or somewhere in Ukraine, please sit down with them and negotiate . Although, I want to remind you, Sivokho tried - who kicked him near the Presidential Administration? You are already conducting your negotiations there with representatives of Donbass,” the expert noted.
“But please, let’s then divide the Minsk group into two parts, so as not to spend money on business trips, Zooms, etc. Representatives of the Ukrainian government will lead in Kiev with people from Donbass living there, here in Moscow, DPR-LPR and Russia will negotiate with immigrants from Ukraine who live here, with former ministers, the status here will be higher, I can assure you. And that’s it, let’s negotiate and we’ll all come to an agreement right away. True, we are talking about one thing, you are talking about another, and this will not affect the military conflict in any way,” Kornilov suggested.
Thank you!
