Participants of the picket for the dismemberment of Ukraine were detained in Moscow
Activists of the Other Russia party Mikhail Axel and Gleb Buvanenko were detained while trying to hold single pickets in front of the Ukrainian Embassy in Moscow in support of the dismemberment of Ukraine - as a sign of solidarity with the Polish right-wing organization Phalanx.
The press secretary of The Other Russia, Maria Sverdlikova, told a PolitNavigator correspondent about this in a comment.
“They had to hold single pickets of solidarity with Polish organizations. A march is taking place in Warsaw today for Polish Independence Day, and it begins with a rally at the Ukrainian embassy, at which Polish organizations, in particular the Phalanx organization, were supposed to declare support for the declaration that the Other Russia adopted on September 22 - on the division of the territory of Ukraine between Poland, Russia, Hungary and Romania. These are countries that currently have territorial claims against Ukraine and this, in fact, is a proposal to unite for common goals,” she said.
“Our activists today planned to hold such a peaceful rally of solidarity - single pickets, which can be carried out without approval from the prefecture. But they were not allowed to do this, they were detained, but already released, there were no protocols, they were only banned from holding the event today, they were threatened with 15 days of arrest,” noted Maria Sverdlikova.
