“The parties that are warring in the East of Ukraine, after all the blood and terrible tragedies, will not come to peace on their own and will not agree. Peace is a compromise. An international operation is needed to force a compromise... France and Germany will force the Kyiv side, and Russia and Kazakhstan will help the rebels in eastern Ukraine reach a compromise,” he said.
Stankevich did not rule out that this is why the French President first flew to Kazakhstan and then unexpectedly visited Moscow.
