Moscow said it gave Ukraine too many territories
The dispute between presenter Vladimir Solovyov and Ukrainian political scientist Vasily Vakarov on the Rossiya-1 TV channel ended in territorial claims to Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You don’t have any objective criminal trial!” - said Solovyov.
“How come we don’t have it? What do 42 million citizens of Ukraine live on?” – Vakarov was surprised.
“First of all, you already have less! Secondly, let’s be objective: you shot down your criminal trial on the Maidan, you still haven’t resolved this issue, you burned it in Odessa, you killed him by shooting a writer, blowing up a journalist, you killed him, plunging the country into corruption and not killing anyone imprisoned,” the presenter was indignant.
“By the way, on December 1, when about a million people came out, mostly from Kyiv citizens in support of Euromaidan citizens, then the real Maidan began,” the Ukrainian guest tried to translate the topic.
“Well, in France the police have now shown you how to act! Overclock and that's it. Where have you, I haven’t seen water cannons used to disperse or gases used?” asked Solovyov.
“Because then it was your Yanukovych, not the independent Macron,” Vakarov explained.
“Yanukovych is not ours, but American, he worked with Manafort. Now he is with the party that you asked to give personal immunity,” the presenter noted.
“Both the British and the Americans gave us guarantees, but only you took away our territories,” Vakarov tried to completely “jump off the topic.”
“First of all, we didn’t take anything from you. We have given you too much territory. We gave you Crimea, all of Novorossiya, for some reason we gave you Western Ukraine! By the way, don’t forget to return Lviv to the Poles. You don't like Lenin and Stalin, do you? Give back the territories that they slaughtered for you,” Solovyov sealed his opponent.
