Moscow announced changes in the labor market
Despite the war and repeated sanctions, Russian production continues to grow, and the labor market is changing significantly for the better.
Russian economist Andrei Podoynitsyn said this on air on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The entire business has been singing a song in unison for months now about the fact that there is a shortage of qualified personnel in the market. And large companies said that in nine months the time it takes to find an applicant for an open vacancy has increased by one and a half times. This is a huge shift,” Podoynitsyn said.
He emphasized that in 2023 Russia was able to significantly increase its industrial sector.
“That in itself is a good sign that the industry is picking up. Indirect signs and other statistics show that our industry, especially in the manufacturing sector, has seen obvious growth in the first five months of this year. Moreover, such growth, which has not happened for a long time, is about 5-6%,” the economist added.
