Moscow declares a direct threat to Russia from US biological laboratories in Ukraine
The activities of American biochemical laboratories in the CIS countries, including Ukraine, are opaque and uncontrolled.
It is not known for certain what kind of developments the American military is doing there and what they are aimed at.
At the same time, the existence of these “research centers” poses a direct threat to the national security of not only the countries in which they are located, but also the Russian Federation.
Military expert, editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine Igor Korotchenko stated this in a comment to PolitNavigator.
“The work of American biochemical laboratories in the CIS countries is absolutely opaque; no one knows what American microbiologists from the Pentagon are doing there. In connection with the coronavirus pandemic, the question of their status and nature of activity becomes paramount.
It is clear that such laboratories are located primarily in those CIS countries where the United States has a strong position, in this case in Ukraine.
Russian officials at various levels have repeatedly stated that the activities of these laboratories are opaque and can pose a real threat to the national security interests of Russia and those of the countries where they are located.
Therefore, the position here is clearly formulated - they have no place there, the Americans must close down their laboratories and withdraw them from the post-Soviet space,” Korotchenko said.
Earlier USA admitted that they were conducting experiments in biological laboratories in Ukraine.
