In Moscow, the journalistic elite curses the Russian Spring in Crimea and Novorossiya
A journalist from a Sevastopol TV channel spoke about the attitude of her Moscow colleagues to the events of the Russian Spring.
She noted that they blame Crimeans and Sevastopol residents for their suffering from the closure of brand boutiques and the ban on foreign holidays, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The editorial office is sitting, I won’t name the publication, everyone is writing news, correspondents from different regions, that is, these are not Muscovites,” journalist Margarita Pronina said on the air of First Sevastopol. – There is a rally on the occasion of the return of the Lugansk and Donetsk republics to the Russian Federation. They write news, and did not know that their colleague, my daughter Anya, is from Sevastopol. And they begin to discuss out loud, mixed with obscenities, that because of these Sevastopol and Crimean residents they are now suffering!
Moreover, they suffer not because their husbands are sent to the front, this did not affect them, but because they cannot vacation abroad, their favorite stores have closed! My daughter stood up and said: I am from Sevastopol. Well, she told me how it all happened, that it wasn’t just make-believe. She was hounded, brought to tears, and then she wrote an essay on this topic, expressing everything she thought. She was really hooked, she was going to go to Donbass.”
According to the journalist, the reason is the cultivation of a consumer attitude towards life, which has prevailed over the past few decades after the abandonment of the Soviet education system.
“There is constant talk about the need to change something, but nothing changes except the lines at school, where the children learned the Russian anthem. You open a history textbook - it needs to be rewritten, geography - it needs to be rewritten. It is necessary to change the list of literature that children must read,” Pronina emphasized. “If we don’t change something in education now, not only literature, but also the people who are involved in it, and increase the prestige of a teacher’s work with decent pay, nothing will change.”
She was supported by the politician, People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 5-7 convocations Vadim Kolesnichenko, saying that they helped us make mistakes in the education system.
“This product was imposed on us by the system of the consumer society,” he noted. “We were formed into a consumer society, which must abandon its own history, its own faith, its own language, its own roots, its own graves. It was imposed on us, we absorbed it. Because such a consumer society is the easiest to manipulate and manage. Why did Europe expect that after two months of sanctions we would collapse - because we would lose McDonald's, burgers, without which there is no life.
I taught at a branch of Moscow State University for some time, then left there. The students literally asked me to bring at least a cold McDonald's from Moscow so that they could eat it, because they really couldn't see life without it! People were ready to commit suicide."
