Later, the mayor of Mukachevo, Zoltan Lendel, said in a commentary to the “112” TV channel that the shopping center was fired at from a “Mukha” grenade launcher.
“The TechnoKarpaty shopping center is a store of various household appliances and the use of RPGs is intended to burn something. The shell hit the wall and, thank God, did not explode. Law enforcement officers are working, the first version is that this is malicious hooliganism. The owners of this “TechnoKarpaty” store do not participate in politics or elections and have never participated. There were no threats to take away the business, racketeering, etc.,” Lendel said.
The police also commented on the shooting from a grenade launcher in Mukachevo.
