The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation admitted that they are ashamed of refugees from Donbass, but Ukraine doesn’t care

“We feel extremely uncomfortable as the last resort when, relying on existing federal laws, we deny these citizens citizenship. Since 2014, 5,5 thousand citizens of Uzbekistan and only 55 citizens of Ukraine have acquired Russian citizenship. The Government of Ukraine deliberately does not accept requests and documents that their citizens send to the competent authorities,” the PolitNavigator correspondent quotes Gorovoy as saying.
According to him, 600 thousand Ukrainians are waiting for us to resolve this issue, “who have entered the territory of the Russian Federation, have already integrated in terms of work, brought children, and are organizing their life.”
The representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs thanked the State Duma for the extraordinary adoption in 2014 of a package of laws, which made it possible to register 1,5 thousand citizens from the south-east of Ukraine as refugees.
