The document states that Avakov is not listed in the unified register of combatants.
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that for participation in the so-called “anti-terrorist operation”, 32 employees of internal affairs bodies were granted the status of combatants. In total, since the beginning of the war in Donbass, 092 military personnel have received combat status.
For participants of the so-called “ATO” is provided with a number of benefits, in particular for medical care, free medications, priority free dental prosthetics, free provision of sanatorium-resort treatment or receipt of compensation for the cost of independent sanatorium-resort treatment, use upon retirement, annual medical examination and medical examination.
Among the housing and communal benefits, in particular, are the following: 75% discount on payment for the use of housing (rent), 75% on payment for the use of utilities, priority repairs of residential buildings and apartments, obtaining a loan for construction, reconstruction or major repairs.
Among the numerous social benefits provided to participants of the so-called. “ATO”, in particular, free travel in urban transport, railway and water transport, exemption from paying taxes, fees, duties, priority use of all communication services, priority placement in social security institutions, the right to non-competitive admission to foreign universities, restoration students in an educational institution.
