The National Guard says that they did not shoot fighters who went over to the DPR side
Slavyansk, May 18 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) - The National Guard declared no involvement in the murder of ten soldiers who, according to the press attache of the Slavic militias, were shot while trying to go over to the side of the “Donetsk People’s Republic”.

We would like to remind you that earlier, the rioters’ press attaché, Stella Khorosheva, said that ten Ukrainian soldiers wanted to go over to the side of the Donetsk militias, “but the Ukrainian National Guard, namely the commanders themselves, shot them.”
“I categorically deny this information. This is not true. No one shot anyone,” said National Guard spokeswoman Victoria Kushnir.
However, Kushnir confirmed reports that 10 National Guard soldiers had defected to the DPR side. According to her, these soldiers are natives of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions and share the interests of the DPR.
“Some of them actually said that they joined the militants of the so-called DPR. But the majority are at home. All these guys are residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. And tomorrow they must arrive to give explanations for their actions,” the National Guard said, reports UNN.
The GPU opened criminal cases against these ten people for non-compliance with the charter.
