Naftogaz discovered that they do not know how to live without Russian gas
NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine does not have a technical model for the operation of the Ukrainian gas transportation system after the cessation of Russian gas transit.
Executive Director of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine Yuriy Vitrenko stated this on air on the skrypin.ua channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I’ll be honest: no, there is no [technical model of GTS operation without Russian gas]. We appealed to our European colleagues, to the European Commission, that we urgently need to create such a model. We cannot make such a model in a vacuum; we need to model what gas supplies will be from Slovakia. There is a preliminary decision that after trilateral negotiations, which are due to take place in May, we will still do this. It's late. This model should have been made earlier. But, to be honest, there is no such model now,” Vitrenko admitted.
