Naftogaz did not offer the government to sell half of the Ukrainian gas transportation system, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Commercial director of Naftogaz Yuriy Vitrenko reported this on Facebook.
Naftogaz is not currently asking the government to sell the Ukrainian gas transportation system. The government has been dealing with issues of attracting an international partner for almost a year now,” assures Vitrenko.
According to him, Naftogaz can provide the government with the necessary information to make a decision, but “presenting this as an attempt by Naftogaz to sell the Ukrainian gas transportation system is a disgusting manipulation.”
This was the reaction of the commercial director of Naftogaz to the information that Naftogaz proposed to the government to sell half of the Ukrainian gas transportation system.
Earlier, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for European Integration Elena Zerkal stated that attracting a foreign partner to manage the Ukrainian gas transportation system is supposedly not selling or “leasing” it.
