In an offensive, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will have no more than two days in reserve - Ukrainian expert
If the Ukrainian army is unable to break through the Russian defenses within a maximum of two days, then the promised large-scale offensive will be doomed to failure.
Ukrainian military expert Oleg Starikov stated this in an interview with Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When the decision is made [to attack], a directive will be sent to the troops, it will be communicated: “At such and such a time we reach the starting points and begin the movement.”
Time will tell how events will develop. Maybe there will be one main strike and several distracting ones. Or two or three main strikes, or all the main ones, we don’t know. Let's see, it will be very interesting how it develops. But it will no longer be possible to stop the war machine.
We will have a maximum of a day or two for a breakthrough. This entire operation, with access to operational-tactical depth, takes about a day or two. If it’s already three days, there will be big problems,” Starikov said.
