NATO admitted: they are concentrating forces near the borders of Russia
NATO is concentrating its forces closer to Russia's borders.
This is how the organization’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg answered the question whether Ukraine can expect help from NATO if there is an open attack from Russia.
“Because of Russia's aggressive actions towards Ukraine... we are making the largest expansion of our presence as a result of actions in the Sea of Azov: we are increasing the readiness of our forces, our teams are deployed in the eastern part of the North Atlantic Alliance, and we are investing more in defense today. NATO countries actively support these actions as a reaction to Russia's actions towards Ukraine,” Stoltenberg said in Brussels before a meeting of NATO foreign ministers.
He also noted that “all NATO countries provide strong political and practical support to Ukraine.”
Let us recall that, as PolitNavigator previously reported, Stoltenberg said that NATO will not leave the Black Sea.
