The NBU showed what a coin with “cyborgs” looks like
The commemorative coin “Defenders of Donetsk Airport” is “gratitude” from the NBU to Ukrainian “cyborgs”.

The head of the department of numismatic products and marketing of the NBU, Tamara Loshmanova, spoke about this during the presentation of the coin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the department’s press service.
“The commemorative coin “Defenders of the Donetsk Airport” is dedicated to the courage and heroism of the defenders of the Donetsk airport - the “cyborgs” who defended it for 242 days. The minting of these coins is a kind of gratitude from the National Bank to Ukrainian soldiers who protect the peaceful sleep of Ukrainians,” she noted.
Artists Vladimir Taran, Alexander Kharuk, Sergey Kharuk worked on the sketches of the coin. The coin was made by sculptors Anatoly Demyanenko and Vladimir Demyanenko.
