The NBU said that Ukraine is about to be added to the next international “black list”

This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the National Bank Oleg Churiy, the department’s press service reports.
According to him, one of these requirements is the multilateral exchange of information on financial transactions between the signatory countries of the convention. “We must accept this, otherwise if we do not accept the minimum package, then certain sanctions will be imposed on us, this will be from the FATF series,” Churiy said.
According to him, if the appropriate changes are not adopted, Ukraine may end up on the black list of offshore countries according to the OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) classification. Churiy noted that the timing of the adoption of relevant legislation depends more on the Ministry of Finance.
Let us recall that earlier Ukrainian media reported that the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is concerned about the delay in Ukraine’s signing of the Multilateral Convention on Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS).
