The Netherlands demonstrated evidence of Ukraine's involvement in the destruction of MH17
As evidence of Russia’s “involvement” in the destruction of a passenger Boeing in the skies of Donbass, fragments of missiles in service with the Ukrainian Armed Forces were demonstrated.
Military expert Vladislav Shurygin writes about this in Izvestia, analyzing a report from an investigative group published in the Netherlands, which states that the air defense missile system that shot down the Boeing came from the 53rd anti-aircraft brigade from Kursk.
“The public is simply amazed by the scrupulousness and thoroughness of the investigators and how conclusively Russia has been exposed in this crime. There's just one little inconsistency! “Investigators” brought onto the stage not the fragments of a 9M38 missile from the Buk-M1 air defense system, which, as established, shot down the Boeing over the Donbass, but the fragments of a 9M79 missile from the Tochka tactical missile system. To be precise, the motor part of it!
That is, the Dutch investigators smartly presented the international community with fragments of a surface-to-surface missile instead of the debris of a surface-to-air missile as “irrefutable evidence.” And quite obviously Ukrainian! Because the militias never had one in their arsenal and never used it. And if these fragments are evidence of a crime, then it is a crime of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which fired such complexes at the densely populated cities of Donbass,” the expert points out.
