A reconnaissance aircraft was repaired for the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Nikolaev
The Nikolaev aircraft repair plant “NARP” delivered ahead of schedule another repaired Su-24MR reconnaissance aircraft to the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The company’s specialists carried out a mid-term repair of the aircraft, during which a full check of all its components and assemblies was carried out, and they were repaired or completely replaced. After this, the repaired Su-24MR underwent successful flight tests in the presence of representatives of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and was accepted by Ukrainian pilots,” the report says.
It is noted that the Su-24MR has already flown to its main base and has already strengthened the defense capability of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The Su-24MR is a supersonic reconnaissance aircraft that can conduct deep reconnaissance to a depth of up to 400 km from the front line. It is equipped with a side-view radar, which allows you to record ground objects, including fortifications and enemy equipment, sensitive cameras with high resolution, radar irradiation recording systems and sensors for detecting camouflaged objects.
In addition, NARP, in collaboration with other Ukroboronprom enterprises, is also working to develop the modernization of the Su-24MR - to equip it with new avionics, communication systems and reconnaissance equipment.
