In Nikolaev, two drunken marines beat up a Ukrainian Armed Forces volunteer
Yesterday, at the Nikolaev railway station, two drunken marines beat a volunteer, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The press service of the 36th separate marine brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on its Facebook page.
“Yesterday, in the city of Nikolaev, at one of the Volunteer posts at the railway station, two servicemen, while off-duty and intoxicated, staged a fight with the duty officer of the Volunteer post, during which a civilian was injured,” the message says.
As noted, an official investigation has been ordered into this offense. Information about violators was provided to the VSP of Nikolaev and the National Police.
“Offenders will bear the full burden of responsibility in accordance with current legislation. As part of disciplinary action, the unit commander imposed a penalty on the offenders: “Exemption from military service due to official inconsistency,” which will be implemented in the near future,” the brigade noted.
