Today, on the territory of the “Nikolaev International Airport” and the adjacent zone (the villages of Matveevka, Balovnoye, the forest between the villages), the practical phase of tactical and special exercises has begun with the participation of the SBU management units, the National Police and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the purpose of which is to practice preparation and conducting anti-terrorism and counter-sabotage operations.

This was reported in the information support department of the Nikolaev City Council.
“When conducting the practical phase of tactical and special exercises in the area, it is planned to establish checkpoints and check documents and block roads, including on the Nikolaev-New Odessa section.” We draw the attention of residents of the region and adjacent to the exercise zone in the territory of the need to have identification documents with them during the exercise,” the message says.
