About it Novosti-N reports.
According to one of the victims, five people came to the monument: three boys and two girls. They brought buckets, rags, and scrapers with them to wash the “decorated” bas-relief of Lenin on the eve of Victory Day. In the group, according to her, there were several activists of the Communist Party of Ukraine, as well as simply “sympathizers.”
It is noted that approximately 5-10 minutes after the communists began work, they were unexpectedly attacked. According to the victim, it was a group of Nazi youth consisting of about seven people. Some of them had their faces covered with balaclavas.
It is reported that all participants in the action, including girls, were beaten. Some, according to the victim, were thrown to the ground and kicked.
Patrol police officers passing by in a car intervened in the fight. The attackers ran away, but law enforcement officers managed to detain at least two of them.
It is clarified that one of the beaten people had to call an ambulance - a guy of about 20 years old lost consciousness from a blow to the head. The victim was taken to the emergency hospital.
Those detained for the attack were taken to the Leninsky District Department of Internal Affairs. Their victims also arrived there and had to identify the attackers.
