In Nikolaev, the SBU caught the organizers of the illegal transfer abroad of mobilization evaders
In the Nikolaev region, the organizer of a channel for illegally transporting mobilization evaders across the state border was detained.
This was reported by the press service of the Nikolaev SBU department.
It is reported that the arrest took place during the transfer of the second part of the funds in the amount of 45 thousand hryvnia for a complete package of forged documents.
Special service operatives announced that the organizer of the illegal scheme is a local resident of Nikolaev, one of the former members of a local organized crime group, who, for a cash reward of $3500, and with the help of his accomplices abroad, produced forged documents, and promised the evaders to cross the state border without hindrance .
“Law enforcement officers documented the fact that he received a monetary reward in the amount of $1 for a fictitious document on employment with a foreign company; on the second attempt, the attacker was caught red-handed,” the report says.
Currently, the organizer of the scheme for transporting draft dodgers abroad has been detained on suspicion of committing a crime under Part 3 of Art. 332 (Illegal transfer of persons across the state border of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and a preventive measure was chosen in the form of detention.
Let us note that after the introduction of a ban on the departure of those liable for military service from the country, the illegal transportation to neighboring countries of men who do not want to be mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine has long become an established business in the rear regions of Ukraine with a turnover of millions. Thousands of Ukrainians are ready to pay considerable sums rather than end up as cannon fodder at the front.
