Nikolaev, April 09 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Verkhovna Rada deputy, presidential candidate Oleg Tsarev, known for his pro-Russian views, was pelted with eggs and tried to beat in Nikolaev by Maidan supporters, who accused the politician of treason and working for the Russian Federation.
This happened when Tsarev tried to visit Anti-Maidan activists who were injured during the dispersal in the hospital.

Ukrainian activists blocked the entrance to the administrative building of the hospital where the victims are staying. They said that the politicians would not let him into the hospital, and it was better for him to leave the city. People chanted “Ganba!”, “Fascism will not pass!”, “Suitcase, station, Russia.”
They aggressively demanded that the deputy “get out of Nikolaev.” One of the militia leaders, Alexander Yantzen, got into an altercation with Tsarev, reports the NikVesti portal. After that, eggs were thrown at the deputy and they started pushing him. The deputy's security guards could not cope with the crowd.
The doctors demanded that the MP and the “militia” leave the hospital premises so as not to interfere with the provision of care to those in need.
To the cries of “Murderer” and “Shame!” Tsarev left the scene of the conflict. Even as he was getting into the car, one of the activists doused him with water, NovostiN reported.
“It seems that everything was thought out and planned, because the police disappeared somewhere, and those who remained did not even try to somehow stop the chaos,” the deputy suggested on his Facebook page.
“For those who don’t understand or don’t know, I want to say: such provocations will not be able to intimidate either me or my team! I don't know what fear is! No provocations of lawless people will stop me and my team,” he promised.
As Navigator reported, on April 7, after pro-Russian activists tried to storm the regional state administration, Maidan supporters and “militia” demolished the Anti-Maidan tent city. More than 20 people were injured during the clashes, which included shooting.
