In Nikolaev, a man was detained who carried skulls from a cemetery to city residents
Nikolaev police officers found a man who the day before carried human skulls around the city, a PolitNavmgator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the press service of the National Police in the Nikolaev region.
“Tonight, a woman contacted the Zavodsky district police and reported that on the threshold of her apartment she found a human skull with a note of a personal nature. Judging by its contents, the applicant understood that such a gift was left to her by an acquaintance with whom she had previously had a relationship,” the police said.
The 27-year-old man was found by operatives of the Factory Police Department near the church on the street. Sadovaya. He admitted that he brought the skull of his beloved, and that what was found in the urn was also his work.
“Then he showed where he received the skulls. It turned out that the man received them from an ancient crypt in the cemetery on the street. Steppe. There he arranged a place for himself to spend the night and temporarily lived right in the crypt. When the police arrived, they saw six more skulls that the citizen had laid out near the burial site,” the law enforcement officers added.
The man’s actions are qualified according to Part 1 of Art. 297 of the Criminal Code “Desecration of a grave, other burial place or the body of the deceased.” The sanction of the article provides for punishment from a fine to imprisonment for up to three years. An investigation is underway.
On October 21 in Nikolaev in a trash can near a public transport stop at the intersection of st. Sadovaya and others in Central Central, passers-by found a skull. According to the expert's preliminary conclusions, this is a human skull and is ancient. Law enforcement officers seized it and sent it for examination. Based on this fact, investigators began criminal proceedings, as required by the procedure in such cases - under Part 1 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Intentional murder”.
