This is stated in the message of the main department of the State Food and Consumer Service of the region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Before the opening on September 1, 1090 educational institutions were preparing in the region, these are preschool institutions - 508, general education - 541, higher educational institutions of I-II degrees of accreditation - 41. During July-August of this year, specialists of the State Food and Consumer Service in the Nikolaev region took part in the work of admissions committees on the preparation of educational institutions for the new academic year and in the work of commissions on the issue of conducting a technical inspection of buildings and structures of educational institutions in the region, unscheduled inspections of institutions were also carried out according to statements from managers, and consultations were provided on the preparation of catering units. The total number of inspections conducted is 870, of which violations were identified in 188 inspections (21%),” the statement says.
It is noted that in order to bring establishments into proper sanitary and technical condition, 88 instructions and 806 proposals were provided to strengthen the material and technical base and compliance with sanitary legislation. Based on the results of the inspections, it was established that 648 (80%) of the proposals submitted were implemented. There are 95 establishments left that require reconstruction and major repairs.
“As a result of identified violations of the law, about 30% of schools in the region did not receive permission to begin work in the new academic year. Thus, in the city of Nikolaev, 27 secondary schools out of 71 that were inspected did not receive permission, which amounted to 38%,” summarized the State Food and Consumer Service of the region.
As PolitNavigator has already reported, the results of the audit showed that two-thirds of schools in the Kherson region are not ready for the new school year.
