In the Nikolaev region, a nationalist, threatening with a pistol, demanded that passers-by speak Ukrainian
In any more or less civilized country, two people in a public place can talk about anything and in any language, without fear that a passerby will aim a machine gun at them. In any place, except, of course, Ukraine.

At the beginning of November last year, in the courtyard of the Daki cafe-bar in the city of Yuzhnoukrainsk, Nikolaev region, two men discussed events in the ATO zone in Russian and calling a spade a spade. Their conversation was overheard by a tipsy onlooker who considered himself a devout nationalist. Patriotism immediately hit him in the head, and with conscious dignity he demanded that those speaking switch to the state language, or even better, change the subject. To put it mildly, he was ignored. Then, in offended feelings, he rushed to his car parked nearby, took out from the trunk an object that looked like a submachine gun of the Shpagin system, produced in XNUMX (!), and pointed it at the violators of the world order who dared to speak Russian. The men were speechless in amazement. The performance, however, did not last long. Hearing that someone was calling the police, the terrorist immediately hid his scarecrow back and tried to escape.
As it turned out later, this clown was waving a real barrel and casing, albeit without the internal filling. It is unknown where he got this museum rarity. Also, the case materials do not indicate whether the hooligan had previously participated in the ATO or not. And besides, it was his huge mistake and inattention to lose sight of the fact that the cafe-bar was located on Kommunistichesky Avenue.
The court decided to direct the defendant’s patriotism in a more mercantile direction and sentenced to eight and a half thousand fine.
