In the village of Rovnoye, Ochakovsky district, Nikolaev region, two pensioners voted in local elections, presenting USSR passports.

This was reported by the network of observers “Opora”, working with Western grants.

Observers interpret this as voting on the “passport of a non-existent power.”

The pensioners themselves said that they do not have time to exchange passports for Ukrainian ones. This explanation satisfied the election commission, and the pensioners received ballot papers.
